Mit dem s-Genitiv drückt man aus, dass etwas zu jemandem gehört.
Verwendet wird er, wenn das erste Nomen eine Person oder ein Tier ist.
Ist dies nicht der Fall so wird die of-Fügung eingesetzt.
Der s-Genitiv wird bei Personen und häufig auch bei Tieren gebraucht. Er drückt eine Zugehörigkeit, einen Besitz, eine Urheberschaft aus oder gibt an, wofür etwas bestimmt ist. |

Bei unregelmäßigen Pluralformen wird 's angefügt. (Endet das Substantiv auf -s, kommt nur noch ein Apostroph. Wenn kein -s am Ende steht, wird 's angehängt.) |
